“I was lucky enough to have a high school math teacher who understood this. I always excelled at math and science. But when it came time for homework, I got bored with it. I would do enough of my math homework to make sure I understood the topic. Once I had it mastered, it got too boring and I had better things to do. If my teacher would have graded on homework, I probably would have gotten C's instead of the A's I got because of my good test scores. I graduated HS back in 1982 and I went on to get a BS in civil engineering and I am presently a professional engineer.
